From: Nicole DeGennaro Okay, this is the part that I've warned everyone about (And the part that Kait's already read.) It's very very EXTREMLY GORY!! This very part before you. Now, for all the fans of the character that's first to go, do NOT throw anything at me (You *know* what I mean.) Hint of the future: No one survives this piece of work (Referring to the fanfic.) Maybe Bobby, but I'm not sure yet. Rob: ::Sighs.:: You have no dignity. Nicole: ::Prances around the room, singing.:: Gory, Gory!! Bloody, bloody, gory!! PART 9 * * * * * * * * * * * * "Done!" Jonny yelled as he wove the wire through the last curtain. "You locked the doors, right?" "Yeah." Jessie said as she pulled the wire, and all the drapes closed one by one. "Now, how’d you know he wouldn’t fire? There’s no way you coulda just guessed. It doesn’t work like that around here." "Unless you knew this was happening. Had some inside information, or something of the sort." Hadji stated blandly. "Aw, c’mon Hadj. You really don’t think that I would’ve set this up, do you?" "I am not suggesting that, I am just listing all the possible factors." "Well, it’s good that you aren’t trying to blame him, because I can tell you that he isn’t in on thins in any way." Bobby reassured Hadji and Jessie’s discomfort. "But I would still like to know how you knew that you wouldn’t get shot at." Bobby added. "Well, it…uh, kinda works like this….I, umm…I’ve been having these visions lately. And at first I just thought that they were gory nightmares, but when I saw myself get killed, I felt all the pain. I actually thought I was dying." Jonny paused to look at their reaction. They were all staring at him. Jessie with wide eyes, Hadji had the look as though he was trying to consume and make sense of it. And Bobby had a skeptical look to him. "And I saw each and every one of you die. Except for Bobby. So I think Bobby is the only one who makes it through this. Him and Race." "So you saw Dr. Quest die too? Can you identify where it was?" Hadji asked seriously. *At least they’re not laughing at me.* Jonny thought. Although Bobby looked like he was ready to. "Hadji, why do you think I was so concerned about reaching Pop? I saw him die. And I wasn’t able to identify the place…until he told me he was going to Nevada." Jonny ended. Jessie gasped, then said, "Oh, no!! We’ve got to reach them!!" "Yeah, I wish." Jonny retorted. "First of all, Zanden’s at the lighthouse, so we can’t use the computers. And I bet he was sensible, and he cut out the phone lines and other communications." Hadji nodded in agreement. "So, what’s our next move?" Bobby asked, getting bored with the current subject at hand. Jonny glared him a look that clearly stated ‘shut-up.’ And Bobby looked right back at him with a look that said ‘At least I’m not insane.’ "Bobby, I know you think I’m insane, and it’s a little too obvious that your the only one. But either you go along with us, since this is our house, or we hand you over to Zanden." Jonny stated dryly. "Fine, whatever. But I still want to know what we do next." "Well…I’m not entirely sure." "We have the windows locked, the curtains pulled, and the doors are locked. So we take the next best step." "Split up?" "Get some weapons?" "Stay where we are?" "No. We find a way to get out of here without getting killed." Suddenly Jessie stiffened, bringing alarm to everyone. "Jess? What’s up?" Jonny asked. "Something doesn’t feel right…" She said. Then suddenly she got a look of surprise on her face and yelled, "Everybody GET DOWN!!!!" She dove onto the floor and pulled Hadji, Jonny and Bobby down with her. A few moments later, a shower of gunshots burst through the windows, all of them, right above them. "We have to get upstairs." Jonny whispered. "Yeah, but we can’t move now!! They totally demolished the living room!!" Jessie whispered back. But she was right. The forest green curtains that hung by the windows were now just rags, and the walls were full of holes, some that went right through the wall. "Dad’s gonna flip." Jonny whispered to himself. *If he ever comes back.* He added silently. "They have stopped firing." Hadji commented to snap Jonny back to the situation at hand. "We should move now." "It doesn’t matter." Jonny concluded. "In my visions, it was nighttime when we all died." He said as he stood up, brushed himself off, and walked away. "Wait for me!" Jessie said as she ran after him. * * * * * * * * * * * * "Zanden!! I want those kids alive! What do you think you’re doing? They’re probably lying dead in there!!" Zanden’s ‘Higher Official’ yelled. "What does it matter, sir? If they’re dead, then Benton will definitely come home." "I thought you told me that we apprehended Dr. Quest!!" The Higher Official fumed. But Zanden still boasted, and persuaded that what he did was right. "We did, but we let him go. We told him it was mistake, and now we made it easier to apprehend him later. And that bodyguard of his sure did put up a fight the first time. I think it’s him we need to worry about, and not the Doctor." "I don’t know, Zanden. You seem to have something up your sleeve that isn’t part of the designated plan, and I don’t like rebels." "I’m not a rebel, sir! I just work to make things better as we go along." Zanden said. "And if you’re really concerned about the kids, we can break in the house and check." "First, I need that progress report." "Well, we got down security easy, then phone lines and other communications. And they can’t get to the lighthouse. SO they’re stuck in the house." "Remind me why I let you attack during the day." "Because, no one ever attacks during the day, and with Bobby there, they would’ve been prepared for us by that time. By attacking in the daylight hours, we leave them unprepared for the big attack tonight." Zanden smiled as he saw that the Higher Official was still pleased with everything. "Now I remember why I let you push me around so much. Zanden, pretty soon you’ll be sitting in this chair and wearing this suit." *Oh, I know…* Zanden thought, *I know…* "Dismissed." "Yes sir." Zanden said as he walked out, a smirk stretching from ear to ear. * * * * * * * * * * * * "Okay, it’s one o’ clock, and we are in desperate need of a plan. So since Jonny claims to have this special ‘gift’ to see the future, we’ll have to make our plan around time and not rush this." "You know what, Bobby. I would say that you have a good plan making scenario, but you forgot one little thing." Jessie retorted. "What?" "You don’t have our experience, and if we’re revolving this plan around time, then we’ll have to rush." Jessie finished. "Hey…where’s Hadji?" Jonny asked. "Who cares?" Bobby asked as he shrugged. Jonny whirled around to face him. But instead of just glaring at him, Jonny punched Bobby right on the bridge of his nose. Bobby whimpered back as the blood gushed out of his nose, and onto his shirt. Bobby tore his sight away from the gushing blood and lunged at Jonny in a tackle and brought him down fast. "GUYS!! WE DON’T HAVE TIME FOR THIS!!" Jessie yelled, her face turning red with anger. "You can kill each other later." She added. But Bobby and Jonny didn’t let up. Jonny punched Bobby in his left eye twice. Bobby finally let up, but by that time Jonny had a bloodied mouth and nose, and his cheek was bruised. "You’ll pay later." Bobby threatened. "I know." Jonny said. "I’m not gonna live to tomorrow." He finished with almost too much confidence. "So basically you’re saying that you aren’t going to even try to fight it? You’re just gonna let yourself die?" Jessie asked seriously. "I never said that. But I mean, it’s almost like the engraved future." "But you have to be able to change it somehow." Jessie said as she started thinking. "AHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHH!!!!" A scream rang through the air, and changed the mood from anger to surprise. "Hadji?!?!?! HADJIIII!!!!" Jonny yelled as he ran off down the hallway. "Jonny!! Wait!! You could get killed." Jessie yelled, ridiculous as it sounded. Bobby strolled after them, admiring the wallpaper. * * * * * * * * * * * * Jonny was running blindly. He didn’t know where he was going, he was being lead Hadji’s scream. The last thing he heard was Jessie yelling, "Jonny!! Wait!! You could get killed." But Jonny kept running. Because if he was right, Hadji was about to be ripped to shreds, literally. "Jonny!!!" Jessie yelled as she caught up with Jonny. But Jonny turned around and grabbed Jessie’s shoulders. "We can’t wait!!! Hadji was just killed!! I KNOW IT!!!" Jonny yelled right in Jessie’s face. "WHAT?!?!?!?!" Jessie yelled in horror. "If this is some kind of joke, or if you’re bluffing, then I’m gonna…." "JESSIE!! WHY CAN’T YOU EVER JUST BELIEVE WHAT I SAY?!?!?!" Jonny screamed. He ran down the stairs, taking them three at a time. "Jonny!!! How do you know where your going, anyway?!?! I’m beginning to believe that your leading me on a wild goose chase." But Jonny was already out of earshot. * * * * * * * * * * * * "HADJI!! IF YOU CAN HEAR ME THEN SAY SOMETHING!!!!!" Jonny yelled desperately. He ran outside. "Jonny?!? What are you doing??? Get back in here." Bobby yelled. "Or at least close the door so we don’t get killed." He added. Jessie ran by him in a hurry. "AHHH!!!" Jessie screamed as she ran outside. She stared in horror as she saw a severed arm…Hadji’s severed arm. "Jonny?" She whispered. "Shhhh…" Jonny whispered back. Jessie turned around slowly to look at Jonny, who was just as pale white as she felt. "Is…is he really…dead??" She asked, shaking all over. "I…I think so. But this is different…not exactly like my visions….so…so we’ll have to be a little more careful." They continued to walk, extremely slow, following a trail of thick blood. Jonny almost vomited twice, when they found a heart…and a leg. "I think your friend, Hadji or whatever his name was, is dead." Bobby stated as he decided to join them. Jessie was half ready to faint, while Jonny was turning a light green. "Shut-up. Just be quiet right now. I don’t want to hear it. In fact, if you say one more word, you’ll be the one with body parts everywhere." Jonny threatened. Bobby shut up and backed away a few steps. "Wow, that worked." Jessie stated, as she continued to walk by the trail of blood. "Jessie? I uh…I don’t think you want to turn that— " "AHHHHHHH!!!!!!" Jessie yelled as she turned around and ran past Jonny and went to vomit in a bush. "— corner." Jonny finished. He almost decided not to turn the corner himself. But he took a deep breath, and turned it slowly. "Oh my God………" He gasped. For around that corner, was Hadji’s head, sitting on a stake, blood still dripping down. "Someone has a sick sense of humor." Bobby said. His blue eyes were big, and his face was whiter then snow. "You said it." Jonny said. He was literally turning dark green as he walked over to Jessie to make sure she was okay. "I think we better get back inside." "Yeah." She said weakly. She leaned on Jonny for support, and they walked back into the Quest Compound. PLEASE!! PLEASE DO NOT GET ANGRY!! EVERYBODY DIES!! THEY ALL GET WHAT'S COMING TO THEM!!! I'm sorry, but I had to do it this way. I'm so sick of the dumb everything where they always make it. Sometimes with no time to spare. I was going to have everyone blown up, but then I thought that in another fanfic I write, I'll have Dr. Quest dismatle a bomb with an hour to spare, instead of your usually second or two. :) I write these fanfics when I get sick of the same old thing.
