Race's Letter of Reassignment:


Understanding the Letter:
	This letter is probably the mist straight forward letter so far in
the series.  Race Bannon has just returned (about a month ago) from a
mission in the southern division of France where he was recovering
documents on the various countries and their weapon supply.  
	He is currently in his ‘prime’ at the CIA, although he will continue
to be their best agent even after the reassignment.

Roger "Race" Bannon,

	It has been brought to my attention that you recently finished a
mission, successfully, in the southern region of France near the
Mediterranean.  This is an official notice of your reassignment.  You
are being assigned as a bodyguard for the phenominoligist Dr. Benton
Quest and his young son Jonathan Quest.  You may or may not be aware
of the recent loss of Dr. Quest’s wife, Rachel.  
	The briefing on the attack is as so:
		Dr. Zin (as he calls himself) was funding research in the jungle
areas of 
South America and was rumored to be in the area of where Dr. Quest and 
young Jonathan were.  We, the US government, hired Dr. Rachel Quest to
assist with the understanding of new plant-life which were being taken
by Zin and his men.  As she arrived, Dr. R. Quest was kidnapped and
killed by Zin.  
We fear that with the recent events danger will be around Dr. Quest
and his son.  Another fear we have is the need for Dr. Quest to be
traveling to other countries.
	It has been decided by higher authorities that because of your
success in the field that you should be reassigned to live with Dr.
Benton Quest and a bodyguard for both man and child.  The time on this
assignment is undetermined and will involve constant guard against any
visitor taking into account any chance of danger.

After the letter:
	The reaction of Race Bannon to this letter is a mix of feelings.  He
has just ended his marriage to Estelle Velasquez.  The divorce left
her with full custody of their daughter.  This provided Mr. Bannon
with the good feelings, but he still was unsure of his reassignment.
